Dear Community Members,
On behalf of Bhutanese Australian Association of South Australia (BAASA), I write to invite all the Community Members to participate in 6th Settlement Day Celebration of Bhutanese Community in South Australia on Saturday 10th May at 10:00 am in Salisbury High School, 14 Farley Grove, Salisbury North, SA 5108.

Guests from governmental and non-governmental organizations will grace our program, which will be attended by scores of other guests from service providing agencies and community organization to share with us our story, culture and heritage.

A meeting was held on Saturday the 16th of March 2014 in Salisbury to review and boost the preparation process. This event aims to mark the beginning of new life of Bhutanese  Community Members in Adelaide  as its 6th Settlement Day,  it shall be marked by a cultural program comprising of songs, dances and items of cultural, traditional, linguistic and ethnic importance. Community performers will be involved in cultural performances that will allow for cultural exchange in wider Australian community.

We executives and board members urge all the community members to come forward and participate actively in our 6th Settlement Day Celebration and make it successful and memorable one. Our pride is not in what we own as assets, our real pride is members of community. Members are the one who can make and bring about the difference. Let’s join together and make a difference.
